About us

eFind.ru is the most popular inventory search engine for electronic components in the Russian segment of the world wide web. About 6000 visitors submit over 20000 queries every day.

How does the system works

Suppliers companies take part in our search system by means of linked up on-line warehouses or loaded price lists. When a client requests a certain electronic component, our server immediately inquires all servers belonging to vendors participating in our search system, about stock information. The results are shown as they arrive to our server, with complete information about the requested product items, including price and availability in warehouse.

That kind of a scheme allows the user to gather the latest information about items in stock from different vendors, participating in the search system without the necessity of contacting each one of them (visiting web sites, calling or writing emails).

For example, let's take a certain vendor, the algorithm for such a vendor will be as follows: our server sends a search query to a vendor server (for example: "max232", "adm232", atmega16 and so on) that is being accepted by a special script that searches the internal database (MySQL database, Spreadsheet, Text file and other) and returns a list of items that matches the accepted query with availability information (Not in stock, In stock, 100 item available and so on), and additional information, like manufacturer's name, price, description, link to the documentation and other.

How to connect to the system

For a start you need to decide, which of existing partiñipation ways is more comfortable for you. You can to take part by means of linking up on-line stock, or by means of loading stock information in our search system. After that you have to send a application to client@efind.ru with next data:
  • Name of the company.
  • Link to the website.
In case of linking up on-line stock:
  • Information about the script.
    • URL of the script.
    • Script calling parameters and parameters for search queries.
    • Query encoding.
    • Answer encoding.
In case of loading stock information:
  • Price list in CSV format.

How much does it cost

  • Monthly fee — 5000 russian rubles.
  • The fee is paid on the ending of each month.
  • A contract may be signed in case of need.

A company that is willing to participate in the search system, has to meet following conditions

  • All items marked as available has to be in stock, others (items located at other cities, branches or partners) has to contain accurate shipment time information. Other fields like "Due to arrive soon", "Call for more information" or "Only by order" are forbidden.
  • Information from trading sites like Brokerforum is forbidden.
  • Prices, descriptions and other information is not obligatory but warmly welcomed.
  • Your website must contain all the contacts of your company and its warehouse, indication whether the prices include taxes and what currency is used. Stock information must indicate whether the requested items are available, in case there's the company has several warehouses, there has to be information about what warehouse has the requested items.
  • The query answer cannot contain abstract item description like "LED", "max232" or "atmel".
